12th Best Teacher Gala at the Medical University of łodz
The 12th Best Academic Teacher Gala, which took place on 4 December in the Patio of the MOLecoLAB Laboratory Building, is now behind us. During the ceremony, awards were presented to the best teachers at the Medical University of Łódź, selected on the basis of surveys completed by students in the 2024/2025 academic year (a total of almost 40,000 surveys).
The award-winning teachers received commemorative sweatshirts, diplomas, souvenirs from the Student Council, and, for the seventh time, financial awards of PLN 5,000.

Prof. Marzenna Zielińska welcomed the guests, explained the rules of this year’s poll, and thanked all the winners for their contribution to the education of medical staff. On behalf of the student community, Jakub Robak, Chair of the Student Council, expressed his gratitude and congratulations to the award-winning teachers.

The ceremony was accompanied by artistic performances:
Graduates of the Medical University of Łódź, Ms Ewa Zagalak and Mr Mikołaj Grajewski, who sang the songs Może za jakiś czas (Maybe in a while) and Misty at the beginning of the event. At the end of the Gala, students Natalia Witkowska (4th year of Medicine at the Ministry of National Defence) and Filip Szymański (4th year of Medicine and Dentistry) presented their skills by dancing the English waltz.
