Prof. Agnieszka Piastowska-Ciesielska, Vice-Rector for Research at the Medical University of Łódź, has been appointed to the Advisory Team for Research Infrastructure at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The team, consisting of experts from various scientific fields, will be responsible for evaluating applications for funding investments in research infrastructure and maintaining unique scientific equipment. Its goal is to support the development of research resources in Poland, optimize their use, and ensure better coordination of activities within the research infrastructure sector. Prof. Piastowska-Ciesielska’s appointment is a recognition of her scientific achievements and the role she plays in advancing medical research.
