Academic Initiatives Fund – the first edition of the participatory budget at the Medical University is launching!
The Medical University of Łódź is launching the Academic Initiatives Fund – a participatory budget that allows students, PhD students and employees to submit their own ideas for improving academic life and campus infrastructure. For the first time, it’s the academic community that will decide how to allocate a portion of the university’s budget!
Do you have an idea for a project that could make studying easier, improve the comfort of student life, or enhance how our community functions? Now’s your chance to make it happen!
How does it work?
You submit your idea – it could be, for example, a new space for studying and relaxing, eco-friendly solutions on campus, improved access to educational resources, or initiatives that support the health and well-being of the academic community.
Submitted projects will undergo a formal and substantive evaluation.
The UM Łódź community will vote to decide which projects will receive funding and be brought to life.
Budget: employees and PhD students: PLN 100,000
