We are glad to announce that Adam Kwapisz MD PhD, assistant professor at the Department of Orthopaedics and Paediatric Orthopaedics Medical University of Lodz is the first Pole to be nominated for the second time to join International Committee of the Arthroscopy Association of North America which is one of the world most prestigious associations in this area of medicine.

Mr Kwapisz was also elected to the executive board of Polish Shoulder and Elbow Society.

He graduated with distinction from the Medical University of Lodz. As the first Pole in history he passed an exam in orthopaedics: SICOT Diploma, a world level examination. He is also the first Pole to have completed a year internship in shoulder and elbow treatment in Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in the USA and in PanAm Clinic in Canada. He is the second Polish researcher to have been invited to join the society of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and to represent Arthroscopy Association of Canada (AAC). He is a member of editorial board of prestigious journals i.e.  Arthroscopy and AJSM. Adam Kwapisz MD PhD has been a lecturer and instructor at multiple congresses and courses in Poland and abroad.
