Ceremonial appointment of the Health Council to the President of the Republic of Poland
At the Presidential Palace, just before the start of the Health Summit, a ceremony was held to appoint a new advisory body to the President of the Republic of Poland — the Health Council. President Karol Nawrocki presented the members of the Council with their letters of appointment, emphasising that ensuring proper health conditions is an element of national security and one of the state’s key obligations towards its citizens.
The Health Council is composed of a group of experts representing various fields of healthcare. Among them is Prof. Waldemar Machała, Vice-Rector for Military Health Services, whose knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset to the Council’s work.
The President thanked all members for their willingness to take on this task and expressed his conviction that the Council’s work will be a source of good solutions for the future of the Polish healthcare system.
