On March 21, 2024, the Medical University of Lodz had the honour of hosting the delegation from Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) from Kanpur in India composed of  Dr. Vikrama Kumara Sahu, HOD Pharmacy Wing; Mr Gaurav Bhadauria, Joint Secretary, MPGI Group, MPGI; Ms Gauri Bhatnagar, Head Digital Marketing and Communications, MPGI. 

The Medical University of Lodz was represented by: Prof. Monika Łukomska-Szymańska, Vice-Dean for Research and Development of Education of the Faculty of Medicine,  Prof. Elżbieta Budzisz, Vice-Dean for the Cosmetology  Division and the Head of  the Chair of Cosmetology at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Dr Anna Erkiert-Polguj from the Department of Cosmetology and Aesthetic Dermatology.  

At the meeting, both parties had an opportunity to present their universities and faculties  as well as exploring potential collaboration possibilities. The talks opened new horizons for future initiatives including the developing perspective for the academic exchange of both the employees and students. One of the highlights was the tour of the laboratories of the Department of Cosmetology which demonstrated the lab infrastructure used in cosmetology.
