DIPLOMA AWARDED TO FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES GRADUATES AND PROFESSIONAL TITLES GRANTED TO GRADUATES OF DIVISION OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY


On January 19, 2024 in Aula 1000 Didactic Centre of MUL Diploma Awarding Ceremony was held for the graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences and professional titles were also granted to the graduates of the Division of Nursing and Midwifery of 2022/2023 academic year. The Diplomas were awarded by  Prof. Tomasz Kostka, Vice-Rector for Teaching and  Prof. Jolanta Kujawa, Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences  to  619 graduates at Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery, Emergency Medicine and Public Health,  including 353 Nurses and Midwives.

The Ceremony was attended by the following guests:

Grzegorz Majewski, Second Vice-Voivod of Lodz; Piotr Adamczyk, Deputy Marshal of Lodz Province, Adam Wieczorek, First Vice-President of Lodz; Zbigniew Weremczuk, Chairman of the City Senior Council; Michał Łaza, Provincial Coordinator of the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists; Agnieszka Kałużna, Vice-Chairperson of Lodz District Council of Nurses and Midwives, Presidents, Chairpersons and Members of  Executive Boards of Scientific and Occupational Societies, Representatives of National and Regional Consultants in Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Midwifery, Emergency Medicine and Public Health.

The University Authorities were represented by:

Awards were also presented to the graduates with the best academic outcomes and those who were actively involved in the activities of MUL student organisations:

  • Physiotherapy Long cycle studies: Weronika Iglewska, Emilia Tokarska, Olga Sobczyk;
  • Nursing First Cycle studies: Joanna Wrzosek, Bartłomiej Łącki, Joanna Kuznowicz;
  • Nursing Second Cycle studies: Kamila Białkowska, Martyna Bugała, Oliwia Majchrzak;
  • Midwifery First Cycle studies: Oliwia Matusiak, Zuzanna Ogińska, Sandra Szymańska;
  • Midwifery Second Cycle studies: Maria Bilska, Natalia Michalak, Sylwia Morawiec;
  • Emergency Medicine First Cycle studies: Dominik Smołuch;
  • Publich Health First Cycle studies: Aleksandra Boruta, Maja Ścieszko, Julia Adamiec;
  • Public Health Second Cycle studies: Norbert Gadawski.

Distinctions and awards were handed over by the representatives of the following sponsors: Academic Sports Association, Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists, Main Council of Nurses and Midwives, District Council of Nurses and Midwives, Lodz Division of Polish Nurses Association, Salve Medica, Medicover, Inter Poland.

A vocal performance given by Julia Miazek, a gifted student at the Division of Nursing, was a unique musical setting of the event.
