The Medical University of Lodz along with Trinity College Dublin and Instituto Pedro Nunes is a partner in the acceleration programme  EIT Health – Healthy and Active Ageing Bootcamp 2022 which is intended for start-ups offering solutions to promote healthy and active life.

In the period of 19-21 September 2022, ten European start-ups from Ireland, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Portugal, Sweden, Spain, Italy and Lithuania  took part in a series of validation meetings with seniors, experts and researchers from the Medical University of Lodz.

Innovative solutions were also presented at the Panel of Experts meeting and networking session organised by the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer, Medical University of Lodz. The teams also participated in the meeting with Prof. Lucyna Woźniak, Prof. Tomasz Kostka, prof. Jakub Kaźmierski, prof. Dorota Kilańska, Karolina Wapniarska-Wawrzaszek MD PhD, as well as with a group of experts and specialists on entrepreneurship and silver industry.

Medical University of Lodz has been actively engaged in the initiatives that respond to the changing demography in Europe for many years now with Healthy and Active Ageing Bootcamp being yet another one of the activities within this trend.
