A delegation of representatives from Łódź universities participated in a debate on one of the most significant challenges of the 21st century – demographics.
Rectors and experts from Łódź met with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, to discuss the challenges and opportunities for societies in the era of dynamic demographic changes.

The delegation consisted of the following members:

• Prof. Janusz Piekarski – Rector of the Medical University of Łódź,
• Przemysław Andrzejak – Chair of the University Council at the Medical University of Łódź,
• Prof. Rafał Matera – Rector of the University of Łódź,
• Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik – Rector of the Łódź University of Technology,
• Tomasz Sadzyński – President of the Board of the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
