On December 3,  the General Assembly of the Polish Academy of Sciences selected new members of the Academy of Young Scholars (AYS). Maciej Sałaga MD PhD, Department of Biochemistry, became a member of V Faculty of Medical Sciences.

You can apply for a membership in AYS  if you are under 38 years of age, have at least a doctoral degree and you are distinguished by outstanding research achievements and activities promoting science. Today, AYS has 32 members.
