MSCA4Ukraine: matchmaking for researchers, call documents and launch event

The EU-funded MSCA4Ukraine scheme offers dedicated fellowships to support researchers from Ukraine. Applications will open on 24 October, and must be submitted by host organisations on behalf of researchers.

To facilitate this process Scholars at Risk (SAR) Europe is providing advisory and matchmaking services:

If you are a researcher from Ukraine seeking a host organisation, please check the MSCA4Ukraine list of organisations seeking researchers. If there are no suitable host organisations, and if you would like assistance in your search, please complete the form here.

If your institution would like to host, but has not yet identified a researcher from Ukraine, you could benefit from the matchmaking services by completing the form here.

All the relevant information on the MSCA4Ukraine call for applications is now available, including the Calland the Terms of Reference. These documents cover eligibility criteria, application requirements, guidance for applicants and further terms and conditions. Applications must be submitted via an online portal, which will open on 24 October. They will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all available funds are committed.

For further information, you can also register for the online MSCA4Ukraine launch event and information session on 6 October. Following the scheme’s official launch by Viviane Hoffmann, Deputy Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture at the European Commission, and Igor Taranov, Director-General, Directorate of Science and Innovation, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the practical details will be presented and the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.
