The results of  Public University Perspektywy 2023 ranking have been announced. This year Medical University of Lodz was ranked 11 and highly evaluated for scientific effectiveness (ranked 4) and scientific publications (ranked 4).

A slight decrease was recorded when compared to our previous rank, yet, when analysing the universities ranked higher and lower than MUL, the differences are actually minor. Nonetheless, it should be a warning for us as well as motivation to further activity. We are still in the group of top Polish public universities and this is what we should be contented with, says Prof. Radzisław Kordek, Rector of the Medical University of Lodz.

As was the case previously, the Ranking Chapter also announced the results of the Ranking by Subject which are assessed for i.a., academic potential (scientific category), didactic potential (accreditations, quality accepted for studies), academic effectiveness (publications, citation, FWCI, FWVI), internationalisation (publications in international cooperation, foreign students), additional criteria (e.g. State Medical Examination).

We are glad to inform you that MUL Cosmetology was assessed as the best in the country and highly ranked subject also included:

• Emergency medicine (ranked 2)
• Public Health (ranked 3)
• Nursing (ranked 3)
• Medicine (ranked 4)
• Medical Analysis (ranked 5)

The Perspektywy University Ranking  presents Polish institutions (academic and private ones) with a right to confer at least one doctoral degree and with minimum 200 enrolled full-time students. Ranking includes universities that have at least two years of graduates that took part in the survey. This year’s ranking included such criteria as: Prestige (12%), Graduates on the labour market (12%), Academic Potential (15%), Innovation (8%), Scientific effectiveness (28%), Teaching and Learning(10%),  Internationalization (15%).
