MUL in TOP 12 PHARAON OPEN CALL WINNERS


Pharaon (pilot studies in healthy and active ageing) is part of Horizont 2020 project that aims at maintaining the dignity of older adults and enhancing their independence by providing updated, intelligent and active life solutions. The project will utilise a range of state-of-the-art platforms offering advanced solutions in artificial intelligence, data management and integrated technologies available today.

MUL is on the list of the winners in the second Pharaon open call. In total, 41 proposals from 14 countries were submitted. Finally, the 12 best rated proposals, including one from MUL, became eligible for funding.

BELLIS project: “Bringing efficiency and safety in elderly homes through holistic digital technologies”  shall be implemented by the team from the Department of Geriatrics in collaboration with the partners from Greece and Italy. MUL is represented by Prof. Tomasz Kostka and Agnieszka Guligowska PhD as the content and substantive coordinators of the project, and Agata Wiśniewska, from the International Projects Team, in the administrative capacity.

The Department of Geriatrics shall carry out pilot studies in the usefulness of the platform for health care coordination and modern multimedia technology with a view to increasing seniors’ mobility and motor capabilities.
