Promoting Cultural Diversity Through Diwali Celebrations in Łódź
On October 23, 2025, the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography in Łódź, in collaboration with English-speaking students from the Medical University of Łódź, organized workshops for children and adults dedicated to the Hindu festival of Diwali – one of the most important and beautiful holidays in Indian culture.
Students from India and Malaysia presented the traditions of their countries, performed a dance, and collaborated with participants to create colorful rangoli and clay diyas. Traditional delicacies such as chakli and papadam were served on the tables, enriching the atmosphere of the event.
The meeting aimed to promote integration and cultural diversity in Łódź, providing an opportunity to celebrate and discover the richness of Hindu traditions together.
