SHORT DESCRIPTION OF RESEARCH ACTIVITY
The activities of the Department combine a high level of education with practical information concerning the everyday routine of family doctors. It is also involved in research directly related to family medicine, such as care for chronically ill patients in the practice of family doctors, preventing hospitalization in the case of elderly people or patient compliance. The Department is supported by public institutions such as National Research Committee, Lodz City Council and European Union.
